Remember the Scorched Earth of three weeks ago? It's turning green! The middle photo is of my favorite flower, the Pale Purple Coneflower, Echinacea pallida. The spiky leaves belong to the best-named plant in my garden, Rattlesnake Master, Eryngium yuccifolium. I don't have any idea what all the wee little teensy leaves are going to sprout into. Stay tuned!

I remember the scorched earth! Isn't it amazing how quickly Mother Earth heals herself? Please keep us updated on the beautiful flowers that are in your future!
Belleville postcard show this weekend! I'm headed there this afternoon.
What a beautiful testimony to healing. I am always amazed at how quickly the earth heals itself. Makes one glad to be alive--Spring is in the air. And the earth is scorched no more.
