Here are two pictures of our darling Chihuahua modeling the Brioche Swatch That Turned Into A Scarf. As the discerning will note, I was also practicing my increases and K00s on it. Despite those ugly glitches, Canasta makes it look fabulous!
Canasata looks cute--and warm! I fell in love w/ a blue Chihuahua a few weeks ago.
You might try using a lifeline on your new brioche scarf. Every so many rows, run a strand of dental floss right underneath your needle, picking up all the stitches & yarn overs. Mohair does not react well to being repeatedly ripped. This way you won't have to rip all the way back to the beginning.
