Does anyone remember the Smiling Faces way back in Lucky Find Gazette #5? Well, the other day up in the Jerseyville Salvation Army thrift store, I found this booklet from 1972 which is entirely devoted to the embodiment of these happy plastic visages! Your choice of body includes: Mrs. Clown, Mrs. Farmer, Mrs. Santa, Mrs. Pilgrim, School Girl, and of course our cover model, DIxie Belle (though her hairdo looks more Marie Antoinette-ish than ante-bellum to me.) These darlings would go great with your collection of crochet poodle TP cozies!
